Increase Water Flow for Increased Rice Revenue

In Prachinburi Province, Thailand, water hyacinth grows naturally and can clog waterways, preventing water from flowing freely.  3C assisted a rice farming village to clear water hyacinth from their village water source.  Villagers removed the plant from their small river or klong named Klong Hua Seua to increase water flow, counteract saline intrusion to rice paddies, and enable themselves to obtain a better rice yield.  This in turn helps them to increase revenue from rice sales.
