Youth Marine Conservation Seminar
3C gave a seminar on "The role of youth in environment conservation." The seminar was organized at the School of Law and Political Science, Ocean University China, in the coastal city of Qingdao on 18th April 2017.
The seminar allowed the young participants to learn about environmental conservation and the types of activities they can participate in to further this cause. Participants learned about the natural and social aspects of conservation, available information and tools, funding opportunities, and platforms in China where they may offer their participation to protect the environment. A lively discussion was held where participants shared their experiences in environmental work, exchanged ideas on how they could do better, and sought advice from 3C on how they could do more for the environment.
